Specification For High Voltage Induction Motors

SCOPE
This document defines the requirements for design, manufacture and testing of high voltage squirrel cage induction motors for PROJECT-NAME Project.

2. CODES AND STANDARDS
2.1 General
The electrical equipment and installation shall conform in design, materials and performance, except where otherwise specified, with the current issue and amendments
of the Codes and Standards specified in the following sections.

International Codes and Standards shall be used as the prime specification. Compliance by the Vendor with this specification does not relieve him of his
responsibility to supply equipment suited to meet the specified service conditions. All conflicts between the requirements of this specification and other relevant documents
shall be referred to the Company for resolution.

2.2 International Electro-technical Commission
IEC 60034 Rotating electrical machines.
IEC 60072 Dimensions and output series for rotating electrical machines.
IEC 60079 Electrical apparatus for explosive gas atmospheres.
IEC 60085 Thermal evaluation and classification of electrical insulation.
IEC 60529 Degrees of protection provided by enclosures (IP code)
IEC 60751 Industrial platinum resistance thermometer sensors
2.3 Internationally Recognized Standards
ISO 15 Rolling Bearings, Radial Bearings, Boundary, General Plan, Dimensions.
ISO 281 Rolling Bearings - Dynamic Load Ratings and Rating Life.
ISO 1940-1 Mechanical Vibration. Balance quality requirements of rigid rotors.
ISO 5753 Rolling bearings: Radial internal clearance
API 685 Sealless Centrifugal Pumps for Petroleum, Heavy Duty Chemical, and Gas Industry Services.
